General Rules
Two separates scores, “D†and “Eâ€, will be calculated on all apparatus.
- The D-Jury determines the D-score, the content of an exercise,
- The E-Jury the E-score, i.e. the exercise presentation related to compositional requirements, technique, and body position.
- The E-Jury the E-score, i.e. the exercise presentation related to compositional requirements, technique, and body position.
- D-score content will include by addition:
1 - The additional difficulty value of 8 elements
2- The connections value, based on special rules on different apparatus.
3- Element Group Requirements Value, performed among the 8 counting elements.

3- Element Group Requirements Value, performed among the 8 counting elements.
Explanation
- Value of 8 elements
, The best 7 elements, but maximum 4 elements from the same Element Group, plus the value of the dismount.
If the judge needs to choose the counting 7 elements from elements which have the same value but belong to different Element Groups, he must determine them to the benefit of the gymnast.

- E-score, will start from 10 points and will evaluate by deductions applied in tenths of a point:
The total deductions for aesthetic and execution errors.
The total deductions for technical and compositional errors.
The highest and the lowest sums of total deductions applied in tenths of a point for execution, aesthetic, technical and compositional errors are eliminated. The average remaining sums is subtracted from the 10 points in order to determine the Final E-Score.
The E-score is calculated as follows:
7 E-score deductions: average the middle 3
5 E-score deductions: average the middle 3
4 E-score deductions: average the middle 2
3 E-score deductions: average the 3
2 E-score deductions: average the 2
if the E-jury consists of 7 or 5 judges we will take the E-deduction by the average of 3 middles deductions of E-jury judges, if there are only 4 E-judges we will take the middle 2 scores, if there are 3 or 2 judges in E jury we take average of all their scores.

4 E-score deductions: average the middle 2
3 E-score deductions: average the 3
2 E-score deductions: average the 2
